UniNotes is dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive, and educational environment where students, educators, and learners can share knowledge freely. Our community guidelines ensure that everyone can participate safely and respectfully while maintaining the integrity of academic content.
Core Principles
Respect & Inclusion
Treat all community members with respect regardless of background, experience level, or perspective. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusionary behavior is not tolerated.
Academic Integrity
Share original work and properly attribute sources. Academic dishonesty undermines the value of our shared knowledge base.
Quality Content
Contribute high-quality, accurate, and helpful content. Ensure notes are well-organized, clearly written, and educationally valuable.
Collaboration
Support fellow learners through constructive feedback, helpful suggestions, and positive engagement with the community.
Content Standards
✅ Acceptable Content
- • Original lecture notes, study guides, and educational materials
- • Properly cited and attributed academic work
- • Constructive feedback and study tips
- • Questions seeking clarification or additional resources
- • Announcements of academic events or study groups
❌ Prohibited Content
- • Copyrighted material without proper permission
- • Complete solutions to graded assignments or exams
- • Plagiarized or improperly sourced content
- • Offensive, discriminatory, or harmful material
- • Spam, advertisements, or promotional content
- • Personal attacks or harassment
Academic Integrity
UniNotes is committed to promoting academic integrity. While we encourage collaborative learning, we strictly prohibit the sharing of materials that could be used for academic dishonesty.
Important Guidelines
- • Do not share complete exam answers or solutions
- • Avoid posting homework solutions that will be graded
- • Clearly label practice problems and study materials
- • Respect your institution's academic integrity policies
- • Use shared materials as learning tools, not shortcuts

Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately. We take all reports seriously and investigate them promptly.

- • Include links or references when possible
Consequences of Violations
Violations of these guidelines may result in various actions depending on severity and frequency:
Warning
First-time minor violations
Suspension
Temporary account restrictions
Termination
Permanent account removal
Appeals Process
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you have the right to appeal. Appeals must be submitted within 30 days of the decision.
